About The Show

Every week, Millennium Signature Series is your stethoscope on the pulse of the 21st century.  You'll not hear a single recording past a week old, and precious few of the songs therein have been heard on previous recordings, either.  Often, new releases will play on the show within mere hours, and I hear them for the first time with everyone else.  You can listen to music for pleasure anywhere on the dial, but it's only MSS that can win your peers' respect - because the sooner you hear it, the better your odds of liking it before it was cool.

Though I'm always sure to play the latest from my favourite artists, it turns out most musicians don't release new work every week, so the track lists tend to consist largely of mysterious candidate breakthrough hits from across the Deep Web, Cyberspace, water-damaged cd-r's I find lying around carparks, etc.  These ghosts in the machine, intermingling with the aforementioned musicians from real life, have in common both tremendous talent and, generally, no knowledge of their appearances on this show.  Halfway through each edition is a segment called The Reworks: a single brand-new cover of a not-so-brand-new song that would otherwise be out of scope.  Most importantly, 100% of featured songs are great and you are very smart for enjoying them.  Twitter pundits worldwide agree that vocally enjoying Millennium Signature Series is a substitute for a personality.
